City and Islington College

Brief

To design and code three HTML Email newsletter templates that encompass the client’s existing design style guidelines as well as having the ability to reuse the templates in the client’s customer email delivery system.

How I went about it

Discussions with members of the City and Islington College were held to discuss the technical requirements of the HTML email as well as who were the audience, tone and aesthetic design of the newsletter itself.

The design was to make heavy use of the college’s branding imagery to catch the users’ eye, to help conversions, without being too bandwidth heavy that users were unable to view the email on a mobile signal.

The newsletters were kept simple in design so the templates could be used in the client’s customers’ email system again and again with minimal knowledge of HTML and fuss.
